At Home

An evening, after a long day

the magic of technology
that creates a very nice environment at home,
a beer, a glass of wine,
the music still on, and you breathe, and you smile,
and you talk to your other half,
simply a joke,
simply teasing him, but knowing that you want to express how much you love him,
the piano seems to be at home,
and you close your eyes, breathe, and smile.
Cooking a meal, a healthy meal,
and my body feels in peace, and gratitude
for what I have,
not much? I don't know, but I'm learning to enjoy it
home feels like heaven,
and my partner, an angel
a hard worker angel,
piano music still, I write, I celebrate,
some beer, tears of happiness.
