Permission
Permission. What's the meaning of this word? Do we need permission to do things, to create things, or to be? Permission is power. Some people use it as THE power they have to control others, and tell them what to do, what to say, how to be, or not to be, but their permission decide how to live the lives of many, incapable to do and to stand up for themselves, and simply give up the possibilities of being. I, sometimes, wonder about my permission, if I am permitting myself to be who I want to be, how I want to be, and let it be, because I dreamed about being a dancer, but I didn't have the permission to be, and years went by, and stopped, dreaming about the dancer in me. Do we have the permission to say what we want? Some times yes, some times no, some times we simply look at it, think, but don't say anything, because we are not permitting ourselves to do so. And, I remember, when I was a child, so many things I was not permitted to do, and for many of those things I did not get a reason why I couldn't, or as I read recently, THE BEACUSE many human beings want to hear. Permission to live a full life. Permission to be, and bring what you got. I am not sure I make sense, but as I was driving today in my car, that word: Permission, stuck in my head for several minutes, and now I am permitting myself to write about it, and to think about it, and see if I have something else to say later on.
