Sunday like any other Sunday
Full of surprises,
And a road
Technology takes you and drives you
Beach is the end of the road
Ladies waiting, the sisters
Lovely ladies, beautiful ladies
Sit down and the laughing gets confused
With the sounds of the waves
And the talk about nothing
And about everything
And there is the rain
Falling from the sky
Celebration of water
The ocean, the rain
Then the walking
Taking you around the town
People in colors and different shapes
Some loud, some quiet
Walking among each other
Enjoying the time
At the beach
In the rain
Time to eat with the ladies
Chinese
Yes, Chinese food is served
And the laughing is endless
And I see the faces, and I see the love
Love, short word
So many things to express it
On a Sunday
Like any other Sunday
But this Sunday with three ladies,
Three sisters
The Mother and two Aunts
And a gay couple who joined them on a Sunday
But a different Sunday
A Sunday to be remembered
By the joy we had
By the food we ate
By the people we saw and walked with
By the laughing we shared
By the talk about nothing and about everything
There will be footprints of this Sunday
And names
Shaun
Linda
Judie
Karen
Juan Carlos
What a Sunday!!!!
To remember, and repeat.
Yes, we will.
